This recipe could not be any easier, with only three ingredients…you really can’t go wrong! These roasted almonds are perfect to much on during a movie, or pack as an afternoon snack. With no refined sugar, this makes this treat guilt free!
These would also be lovely packed up in a nice bag or box to bring to someone as a home-made gift! Tonight, I made them as something to nibble on as I was making dinner…so I put the rest out on the table for everyone else to nibble on as well!
Maple Cinnamon Roasted Almonds
3 cups almonds
1/3 cup maple syrup
2-4 tbsp cinnamon
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Pour the almonds in a large bowl. Add the maple syrup and cinnamon and use a large spoon to stir around the almonds until they are all covered in the mixture.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a non-stick baking liner and place the almonds on it in an even layer.
- Bake for 20 minutes and remove from oven. Mix the almonds around on the baking sheet until most of them have turned over.
- Bake for another 25-30 minutes. Remove from oven and allow to cool for 10 minutes.
